  • El Rito LibraryEl Rito — $5,500
    This program lets the children of El Rito attend hands-on classes in retablo art, book making, watercolor art, music appreciation and song writing.
  • Child Rite, Inc.Taos — $4,000
    Child Rite is the only private non-profit adoption agency in New Mexico that works exclusively with children with special needs. This will fund a family retreat for adoptive parents and their children.
  • Luciente, Inc.Abiquiu — $5,000
    This after school tutoring and mentoring program helps elementary students with their homework and teaches older students job responsibility and improves their abilities to communicate and mentor.
  • Zona del SolSanta Fe — $3,000
    This grant will fund an after school program for about 100 students that provides a safe and creative venue offering bilingual monitoring and various art and science learning opportunities.
  • Art in the SchoolAlbuquerque — $4,000
    Through the Art of Architecture: From Tut to the Extra-terrestial program, an 8 page teaching guide "Treasurers of the Egyptian Pyramids" will be developed and published, as well as, workshops and lectures.
  • Canones Early Childhood CenterCanones — $5,000
    This after school program provides quality child development services to about 50 young students in the Canones community.
  • Tri County Children's AdvocatesTaos — $4,000
    The Sexual Abuse Program provides advocacy and therapy services to non-offending family members dealing with issues of child sexual abuse.
  • NM Suicide Intervention ProjectSanta Fe — $5,000
    Recognition - Treatment - Hope is a coordinated set of approaches for preventing youth suicide and suicidal behaviors in the Santa Fe area.
  • Luciente, Inc.Espanola — $4,500
    This Art to Boost Curriculum (ABC!) program now expands to the Espanola area and brings applied and performing arts that enhance curriculum development and student learning.
  • Otero and Lincoln County CASAAlamogordo — $4,000
    This grant will fund the Supervised Visit and Exchange program and will provide for a safe place for supervised visits between abused children and parents.
  • Camp CorazonesSanta Fe — $3,000
    Camp Corazones is a four day summer camp (free of charge) for children from ages 5 to 12 that are affected by HIV/AIDS. This camp provides support, dialogue, family bonding and peer connections.
  • Working ClassroomAlbuquerque — $3,000
    Working Classroom provides economically and culturally accessible art experiences to low income middle school students through art and acting workshops, tutoring and GED/ACT/SAT preparation.
  • Santa Fe Teen Arts CenterSanta Fe — $3,000
    The P.C. and Elmeree Oliver Grant
